From the heart of La Crau’s legendary galets roulés, Clos Saint Jean crafts some of the most seductive and powerful wines in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The 2019 vintage captures the domaine’s modern elegance and lush intensity at its finest—a seamless marriage of richness, purity, and Provençal soul.

Produced primarily from old-vine Grenache, blended with small amounts of Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault, the 2019 was fermented in concrete and aged in a combination of stainless steel and neutral oak to preserve its radiant fruit character. The result is a velvety, full-bodied wine brimming with black raspberry, kirsch, lavender, garrigue, and warm spice.

2019 was a generous, beautifully balanced year in the Southern Rhône—yielding wines of both power and finesse. This Clos Saint Jean shows opulent texture and depth without heaviness, offering immediate pleasure yet structure for long-term aging.

Tasting Notes:
