The 2018 vintage opens with an intense and layered aromatic profile of blackberry, black cherry, and cassis, accented by violet, cracked black pepper, and smoked meat. Notes of licorice, olive tapenade, and dark chocolate emerge with air, underscored by a pronounced mineral edge. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and commanding, with dense yet finely polished tannins and balanced acidity. Concentrated dark fruit, savory spice, and granite-driven minerality build through a long, resonant finish.
