A jewel in the Joseph Drouhin crown, the Marquis de Laguiche bottling from Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot is one of the most esteemed white wines in the Côte de Beaune. This historic vineyard has been farmed by Drouhin since 1947, producing a wine of generosity, balance, and depth, year after year.
In 2022, ideal growing conditions yielded a wine that combines luscious fruit, fine minerality, and age-worthy structure. Aromas of white peach, acacia honey, citrus cream, and toasted hazelnuts leap from the glass. The palate is rich yet focused, with layers of ripe stone fruit, almond, spice, and chalk, finishing long, elegant, and vibrant.
A benchmark Premier Cru white Burgundy, this wine offers Grand Cru texture at a Premier Cru price.
Drink now through 2038. Cellar-worthy and luxurious.
