The 2022 Domaine Duplessis Chablis Premier Cru “Montée de Tonnerre” exemplifies the esteemed characteristics of this renowned vineyard. The 2022 vintage in Chablis experienced a relatively mild winter with average rainfall. Early April frosts did not affect the vines significantly. Bud burst occurred in early April, with flowering beginning around May 20th. June presented a wide range of temperatures, initially very cold and then dry and warm in mid-month, prolonging the flowering period. The summer was hot and dry, with timely rainfall in late July and mid-August aiding grape ripening under favorable conditions.
