The 2016 Einaudi Barolo Bussia is a stunning showcase of one of Barolo’s most prestigious crus, crafted in a vintage widely considered among the greatest of the modern era. From the historic Bussia vineyard in Monforte d’Alba, this wine combines power and refinement in equal measure.

The nose is deep and complex, opening with aromas of black cherry, dried rose, crushed granite, sweet herbs, and subtle licorice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, yet polished, with fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity supporting layers of ripe red berries, blood orange, iron, and balsamic spice. Aged in large Slavonian oak casks, the wood influence is perfectly integrated, allowing the purity of fruit and site expression to shine.
