The nose is dense and complex, revealing aromas of blackberry, black plum, and blueberry compote layered with espresso, dark chocolate, licorice, and exotic spice. Hints of graphite, smoked meat, and violet add lift. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and muscular, with immense concentration framed by finely grained, polished tannins and balancing acidity. Waves of dark fruit, mocha, and savory spice build toward a long, powerful finish with impressive poise.
