The Blanc des Millénaires 2006 is the crown jewel of the Charles Heidsieck portfolio—a 100% Chardonnay Champagne sourced exclusively from the finest Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs: Avize, Cramant, Oger, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, and Vertus. Crafted only in select vintages, this wine spent more than 12 years aging on the lees in the house’s chalk cellars, earning its place among Champagne’s elite.
The 2006 release is opulent yet tightly wound, offering a nose of baked lemon tart, toasted almond, white truffle, and chalky minerality. The palate is silky and precise, unfolding with layers of citrus curd, nougat, and smoky brioche, carried by a creamy mousse and racy acidity. The finish is long, layered, and endlessly elegant.
A must-have for Champagne collectors, sommeliers, and celebrants of refined luxury.
Drink now through 2040. Serve in a Burgundy glass to experience its full complexity.
