Created as a tribute to the marriage of Bernard de Nonancourt’s daughter Alexandra, this Grande Cuvée Rosé is only produced in exceptional vintages—and 2004 was one of the greats. Made from a blend of Pinot Noir (80%) and Chardonnay (20%) sourced from the most prestigious Grand Cru villages in Champagne, this wine is both graceful and structured, a rosé for the ages.
The wine undergoes traditional saignée maceration for its vivid color and depth, followed by long aging on the lees for over a decade. The result is a complex bouquet of wild strawberries, blood orange, rose petals, and toasted brioche, with hints of spice and chalk. On the palate, it’s vibrant yet refined, with a creamy mousse, elegant minerality, and a lingering, vinous finish.
Drink now or cellar through 2035. A true celebration in a bottle.
