Sourced from a single, high-elevation vineyard in Treiso, this cuvée emphasizes depth, mineral tension, and precision—qualities that shine through in the more classical, elegant 2018 vintage.

The nose is lifted and complex, offering aromas of dried rose, red cherry, and wild strawberry layered with notes of tar, white pepper, and subtle sweet spice. Hints of orange peel, tea leaf, and crushed stone add further dimension. On the palate, the wine is medium- to full-bodied, with firm yet finely polished tannins and bright acidity that provide clarity and structure. Flavors of red fruit, savory herbs, and mineral undertones lead into a long, focused finish.

More restrained and linear than the riper 2015, the 2018 Vanotu balances power and finesse, making it approachable with decanting today while clearly built for extended cellaring.
