Produced only in outstanding vintages, Camartina represents the pinnacle of Querciabella’s biodynamic philosophy and its visionary approach to Super Tuscan style.

The 2017 vintage, shaped by a warm growing season and small yields, gave a wine of concentration, polish, and striking balance. A blend of approximately 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Sangiovese, it was fermented with native yeasts and aged for 18 months in fine French oak (30% new) before bottling unfiltered.

In the glass, Camartina 2017 unfolds with black cherry, cassis, graphite, cedar, and wild herbs, evolving toward hints of tobacco, truffle, and crushed stone. The palate is silky and layered, with fine-grained tannins and a long, mineral-driven finish. This is a wine of grace over power—modern, yet deeply rooted in place.
