Crafted exclusively from 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay, Taittinger’s Comtes de Champagne 2007 is a masterclass in purity, finesse, and age-worthy depth. This prestige cuvée is produced only in the best vintages and aged for over 10 years in the ancient chalk cellars of Reims, yielding a wine of rare complexity and refinement.
The 2007 vintage opens with a fine, persistent mousse and aromas of lemon cream, white flowers, hazelnut, and chalk dust. On the palate, it is silky and expansive, delivering layers of grapefruit zest, pastry, almond, and crushed stone, all underpinned by vibrant acidity and a long, saline finish.
This is Chardonnay at its most regal, and one of the finest blanc de blancs expressions available.
Drink now through 2040. Decant gently for full aromatic expression.
