Sourced from century-old vines planted in the famed La Crau and other prime lieux-dits, this cuvée is crafted only in select vintages and represents the most concentrated and age-worthy expression of the estate.

The 2018 vintage opens with an opulent bouquet of ripe blackberry, black cherry, and plum layered with garrigue, licorice, and sweet spice. Notes of smoked meat, olive tapenade, and dark chocolate add complexity. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and richly textured, with dense yet polished tannins and balanced acidity. Waves of dark fruit, savory herbs, and mineral undertones build toward a long, powerful finish.

While generous and approachable with extended decanting, the 2018 Cuvée de Mon Aïeul has the structure and depth to evolve beautifully over the next two decades.
